Lyle and Joanne Ternus of Dysart, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Lyle and Joanne (Mahr) were united in marriage at St. Mary's in Vinton on October 20, 1962. The couple has 4 children, LeAnn (Scott) Garwood, Brad (Christine) Ternus, Greg (Lynne) Ternus, and Rene' (Jon) Hadachek. They have 10 grandchildren; Audrey Ternus, Joey, Sarah and Josh Ternus, Alyson, Noah and Anna Garwood, and Jace, Brock and Levi Hadachek. A family celebration was held in July.
