The Union Knights will be continuing their effort to raise money for after prom activities with a special "Pack the Gym" event next Friday, January 18, at the basketball games.
Union will be hosting Wapsie Valley with the girls tipping off at 6:15 p.m. There will be discounted admission prices of $2 for adults and just $1 for students.
Door prizes will be given away by the Booster Club and the After Prom Committee will be putting on a special Soup Supper in the cafeteria from 4 to 7 p.m.
In addition, there will be a Silent Auction to raise additional money for this worthy cause.
Junior varsity basketball tips off at 4 p.m. with a freshman game to follow, and the varsity girls and boys will be at 6:15 and 7:45 p.m., respectively.
The Booster Club and After Prom Committee would like to encourage residents to get out and support not only the athletic teams, but the student body as a whole at this event.
