GAFFNEY, S.C. Looking to rebuild and reload after graduating a bulk of talent that helped guide the program to back-to-back Elite Eights appearances, the Limestone College women's basketball team and head coach Corey Fox have announced the addition of six players for the upcoming 2015-16 season.

Among them is for Union star Peyton Bockholt, a 5' 11" junior from La Porte City who played two seasons at Kirkwood Community College.

Bockholt spent two seasons at Kirkwood Community College and was a Third-Team All-Region XI selection this past season after leading the Eagles to a regional championship. She was named to the conference all-tournament team during her sophomore season, and averaged 5.6 points per game on 52.4-percent shooting from the field. Bockholt was twice named Academic All-Region while at Kirkwood.

Coach Fox on Bockholt: "Peyton comes to us from Kirkwood, a junior college powerhouse, and we expect her to make an immediate impact for us in the post. She can score on the block, and really shoots the ball well. She has a tremendous work ethic, and will push our players to get better every day."
