Isaiah Vaughn continued his record-breaking junior season and helped Union win a wild 49-48 contest over Iowa Falls in Alden last Friday night.

Vaughn rushed for an incredible 384 yards on 39 carries and scored all seven of the Knights' touchdowns. Vaughn also snagged two passes for 17 yards. Sophomore quarterback Troy Hanus was efficient, going 9-for-11 with 82 yards and protecting the ball well.

Brock Hadachek and Koby Alpers led the Knights with 6.5 tackles apiece, with Hadachek recording a sack. Sophomore Jace Glenn also intercepted a pass and junior Jordan Schmitz recovered a fumble.

The Knights are now 3-4 on the season, but face undefeated Anamosa (7-0) this Friday night in La Porte City. The Knights close out the season at home against South Hardin (2-5).
