The Dysart Lions Annual Pancake Day will be held on Sunday, February 12 at the Dysart Community Building. Serving will be from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and it is a free will offering event. Pancakes, sausage, and all the breakfast drinks including orange juice, milk, and coffee will be served.
The proceeds from the event will go to local projects sponsored by the Dysart Lions, such as buying glasses for students and others when called upon. We also support school events such as our Lions Sight First program. In the past years, we have donated funds to the elementary school for the milk fund to make sure all children are able to have milk at break times.
The Dysart Lions Club invites you to join them for a wonderful breakfast and a great time to visit. The Lions motto is "WE SERVE" and the Dysart Lions stand ready to help any time the need arises. This year of 2017 is the centennial celebration of the founding of the Lions International by Melvin Jones, a Chicago businessman. The Dysart Club was chartered on January 24, 1950, making this our 67th year of serving the Dysart community. We thank you for your support over these years!
