Ridihalgh, Fuelling, Snitker, Weber, & Co. CPA's has released an audit on the City of Dysart, Iowa.
The City's receipts totaled $3,099,459 for the year ended June 30, 2015, a 24.9% decrease from the prior year. The receipts included $416,901 in property tax, $77,072 in tax increment financing, $62,672 in other city taxes, $1,926,447 from charges for service, $210,861 from operating grants, contributions and restricted interest, $177,545 from capital grants, contributions, and restricted interest, $99,126 from local option sales tax, $6,944 from unrestricted interest on investments, $121,891 from other general receipts.
Disbursements for the year totaled $3,226,114 a 25.0% decrease from the prior year, and included $541,533 for capital projects and $461,878 for public safety and $303,864 for debt service. Also, disbursements for business-type activities totaled $1,532,138.
