Dysart Reporter

ISU Extension and Outreach, Tama County, will be hosting two day camps this summer at the Traer City Park. The fun will begin at 9:00 a.m. and go until 3:00 p.m. Cost for each camp is $10. Camp is open to all youth having completed Kindergarten - Third grades during the 2016-2017 school year.

The day includes crafts, snacks and experiments that will help us learn and have fun! Everyone is asked to bring a sack lunch, beverage and snacks will be provided.

"It's a Bug's Life." Become an entomologist for the day on June 2. We will study all the creepy, crawly bugs that we can find and make.

On June 9, we will have "Oceans of Fun!" It might get a little wet talking about oceans, so come prepared to have fun! We'll make an ocean and learn about some of the fun creature that call the ocean their home.

Registration can be picked up at the Tama County Extension Office or found at www.extension.iastate.edu/tama/4h. Form and payment can be dropped off or mailed to Tama County Extension 203 W High Street in Toledo. For more information call 641-484-2703 or jhulme@iastate.edu.

Deadline to register is June 1st. Space is limited, so sign up early!
