Those in attendance included: Logan Brown, Jay Peterson, Kaylin Brustkern, Autumn Brustkern, Kendal Putz, Leah Kaufman, Sadie Hennings and club leader Tim Brown.

The treasurer's report, given by Logan Brown, stated a balance of $1,034.60 with no income or expenses for the month of September. Motion was made to accept the report, and was approved.

Leader Tim Brown shared information he had from the recent leader's workshop. The Benton County Fair will be extended by one day in 2018, with static exhibits arriving one day earlier than in past years. The county 4H calendar was shared with members. Each club in the county needs to create/update bylaws which will be turned into the county office. Bylaws will include the number of meetings that must be attended during the 4H year to be eligible to participate in the county fair. Monroe Barnstormers will be requiring three meetings minimum to be attended. There is a requirement to have a first aid kit on hand at all meetings. This will be donated by the Kaufman family.

Premiums from the 2017 Benton County Fair were handed out to those in attendance.

Plans were made to provide a community service of bussing tables at the Dysart Firemen's Breakfast on October 28 from 7 to 11 a.m.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:54 p.m. by Kaylin Brustkern. Pizza, donated by Josh Brustkern, was eaten following the meeting.

The next meeting will be held November 5 at the Norma Anders Public Library in Dysart at 6 p.m.
