Reese continues fundraiser at Farmers Market

August 12, 2019
CJ Eilers - Editor (editor@dysartreporter.com) , Dysart Reporter

Last summer, Dysart resident Ainsley Reese raised over $300 selling lemonade at the Dysart Farmers Market to donate to three area organizations. Reese is back this summer selling homemade bracelets, chokers, rings and combinations as the market has moved back to Dysart Park this year. With the help of family and friends, Reese hopes to raise money for two organizations this year: Little Knights Learning Center and the DG Elementary PTO.

"I'm helping them so they don't have to use all all their money," Reese said. "They use they money to buy pencil, notebooks and other school supplies."

Reese has attended recent LKLC and PTO meetings to learn more about the organizations before selecting them for donations this summer. LKLC provides infant/child daycare for Dysart residents while the DG PTO puts on events for the DG classrooms and teachers each year. While Reese does not have a particular goal in mind this year, she hopes to have fun as the Farmers Market continues continues into early September.
